The Rice Bowl Day tradition at Corpus Christi involves the Cafeteria exclusively offering rice as a food option, symbolising solidarity with those who rely on rice as their primary or sole meal each day.
Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day, is a traditional day of feasting celebrated before the start of Lent in the Catholic calendar. It falls on the day before Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of the 40-day period of fasting and reflection leading up to Easter. Historically, Shrove Tuesday was a time for Christians to confess their sins and seek absolution, known as “shriving,” in preparation for Lent.
Community Mass is an annual event which gathers the Corpus Christi College community for the celebration of the Eucharist in the first term of a new academic year. It animates for students, staff and families the College’s Catholic Identity and helps those new to our community to understand some of the theology around being the ‘Corpus Christi’ or the ‘Body of Christ’. It is a chance for students to grow their religious and spiritual capabilities.
Join us for the Corpus Christi College Annual Community Meeting on Tuesday, 19 November at 6.30pm in the Senior School Boardroom.
This is a wonderful opportunity for all members of our community to come together, discuss important updates, and share ideas for the future.
Everyone is welcome, and we look forward to seeing you there!

We hope that all students will attend this important social function.
Dress – Your choice of elegant semi-formal wear
Gentlemen adhere to a smart dress code, opting for business shirts and ties paired with appropriate dress pants. While jackets are optional, we encourage you to embrace the opportunity to add an extra touch of elegance to the evening.
For our ladies, we ask that outfits reflect the values of our Catholic College. Let's ensure our attire honours the spirit of the occasion by avoiding extremely short (mini) dresses, daringly low-cut fronts or backs, excessively high-cut slits, overtly revealing midriffs, or dresses with inappropriately revealing cut-outs.
Your commitment to upholding these standards will contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the event.
