Lifelink Launch - Senior School

Six students from our Ministry Student Leadership Team, along with Ms. Preedy and Mr. Chandler, attended the Archbishop's LifeLink Day Forum for Secondary Schools on May 18th. This event marked the launch of LifeLink 2023.

Held at Aranmore Catholic College, students and staff from various Catholic high schools gathered to hear from the Archbishop, CEWA Executive Director Dr Debra Sayce and other representatives of our Catholic community. We had the incredible opportunity to connect with students from different schools, sharing ideas and forging new connections.

The focus of the forum was the concept of synodality, a term that encompasses communion, participation, and mission. Archbishop Timothy Costello emphasized the importance of journeying together as the people of God. The event was not only educational but also a great social experience. We made many new friends and had a blast!

Throughout the day, we engaged in interactive activities that allowed us to learn and grow. We were seated with students from other schools, promoting diversity and collaboration. We even had a Q&A session with a panel who answered our questions. Overall, it was an informative and enjoyable event.

The Archbishop's LifeLink forum provided a platform for us to listen, understand, and process different perspectives. It encouraged us to live out our faith by building community and giving generously to those in need. Let's continue to embody these values in our school and make a positive impact on society.
