Science Club
At the most recent Science Club, Year 7 and Year 8 students spent the afternoon exploring the topic of LIGHT; what it is and how it can be produced. Students witnessed a range of enlightening (I said it!) demonstrations before undertaking a problem solving task in which they were asked to identify a range of unknown chemicals, based on the colour of the flames they produced. This is the same science that goes into designing fireworks! The next Science Club will take place on Tuesday 6th November (Week 5) and will be themed around forensics.
