AFL Girls Footy Carnival
In 3 words the girls described their experience as Hot, Fun & Teamwork. Our Year 8/9 girls played spirited footy against 9 other schools from the East and South Fremantle Districts. The emphasis was on fun and although scores were not kept, we can proudly say that our Corpus girls put on a dominant display. We had 24 contributors who continued to improve every game they played. Congratulations to the following players who have been selected in an East Fremantle All Stars Team to take on South Freo in the coming weeks: Cairo Coventry, Claudia Bempasciuto, Jade Patching, Jade Jerome, Shannae Ziccardi, Elizabeth Blair, Jennifer Rose & Chelsea Taylor. Special mention to Jade Pymont and Tahnaya Browne who took out the Coaches awards for most improved. Congratulations to all the Girls!
