BW&B Sports Awards Night
We held our 6th Annual BWB Celebration of Sports Dinner last Thursday evening. The mood was sombre, following the loss of our much loved friend in Sport Ms Elaine Liew, but the evening was well attended and we were able to recognise many students and staff who have made significant contributions to Corpus Sport in 2018. Carla Drennan and Jackson Edgar were terrific MC’s and guests speakers Shaun Redhage of Wildcats fame and former student and Dockers Footballer Gabby O’Sullivan had some meaningful insights for our audience. We awarded our ‘Fairest and Best’ players from the Summer and Winter Home & Away competitions along with ‘Best All Round at Sport’ in each Year Level. We also acknowledged Colours & Service to Sport, ACC Captains & All Stars and State Representatives. Congratulations to Alexandra Rowan of Year 12 (All Star Student Coach of the Year), Christopher Johnstone of Year 10 (No Limits Athlete of the Year), Ms Tessa Johnson (All Star Staff Coach of the Year) and Carla Drennan (Sports Leadership Award 2018) all worthy winners of these prestigious awards!
