Mulan Immersion
Another big day for the Mulan Mob! An early morning brekky and exercise with the kids, followed by basketball and some games. We split up into the different classrooms and helped out with some numeracy, reading, and protective behaviour classes. Most of the afternoon was dedicated to painting the water tank, a significant symbol of the Mulan community. The images were designed by the elders, and along with the senior students, the Mulan Mob helped to bring these designs to life and this was an amazing opportunity for us to discover and experience the unique and traditional landscape of the community that has welcomed us this week.
We can't believe that we are nearly halfway through this once in a lifetime experience but we are extremely grateful and blessed to be on this journey together.
Stay tuned... We'll keep you updated! (By Rohan, Kaitlyn and Chloe)
