College Tour Day
Choosing the right school can often be a daunting task for parents. Tour days are designed to not only showcase the diversity of the College, but for parents to get a ‘feel’ for the school.
Corpus Christi College opened its doors to the community on Thursday 19 March for the first of its annual College ‘Tour Days’. Visitors were greeted by the charming Year 10 students and entertained in the College Hall by one of the talented guitar ensembles. Principal, Mrs Caroline Payne and Deputy Principal Middle School, Mr Frank Italiano spoke in detail about the College, sharing some of the school philosophies and also providing a snapshot into the future, and insight into the ‘Corpus Culture’.

Following the briefing, students guided groups of 12 (parents and prospective students) around the College grounds, sharing some of their own experiences at school and also imparting some of the College traditions. The Year 10 students have been working collectively with Corpus Communications, Mr Damian Scali, Head Girl Rebekah-Anne Craggs and Head Boy Samuel LaMacchia over the last few weeks in preparation of these days. Part of this preparation has involved touring the school as a group and finding out more about the 30 years of College history.
