Library Update for 2021
The College Library provides students with a safe and engaging place to study before and after school, under the supervision of staff.
We have several dedicated learning spaces available for students to use, including a dedicated Year 12 study room.

Monday – Thursday: 7.30am – 5.00pm
Friday: 7.30am – 4.00pm
Homework Club
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 3.30 – 4.30pm
Homework Club Tutor Service
The College employs some of our former exemplary students to provide free academic assistance.
Students can request for a tutor online, or seek 1:1 support during the session. Our tutors study a range of undergraduate and post-graduate courses including Politics, Psychology, Physics and Medicine. Teachers are also available to assist students. New books for 2021
We have ordered a collection of Barrington Stokes publications to add to our Young Adult collection. We have spent a lot of time developing this collection. It is designed to interest younger readers and readers with processing problems. Together, we will all read.
Lego Club 2021
Under the guiding hand of SLT members Aaron Clayton and Toby Soliman, students will be invited to join the Club and build a Vestas Wind Turbine.
New & Exciting After School Library Offerings for 2021

Micro classes for Year 10 students struggling with writing. These classes will be held after school in the Library. They will focus on basic writing skills for students heading to ATAR. It is useful for all subject areas.
Comprehension and writing seminars for Year 11 students. These seminars, held after school in the Library, are designed to demystify English comprehension and writing for ATAR students. They will provide students with a structured approach to reading and writing for ATAR.
“Death of the author” – workshops on post structuralist theory for Year 11 & Year 12 students. These workshops, held in the Library, will provide students with a User’s Guide to post structuralist theory from Bakhtin to Irigaray. Wearing intellectual “asbestos gloves”, students will flirt with theory from Russian formalists to eco feminists – life will never be the same! These will be useful to ATAR English, Lit, RE and History students. They will be fascinating for any student who would like a set of intellectual tools to carry them through life.
