Year 10 VET Success
Current Year 10’s have formally applied and attended selection interviews to enrol in VET courses. The competition was strong as the applicants come from all schools in the Perth Metropolitan Region.
The students have been successful in gaining places on TAFE courses, pre-apprenticeships and traineeships in a range of industry areas. The guest speaker who is an Apprentice Ambassador recognised by the Australian Government, Genaro Auriemma inspired the students as he outlined his career journey starting from the apprenticeship in construction to becoming a Registered Builder.
Our own Corpus champions are starting their career journey in 2019 and will gain nationally accredited qualifications. Congratulations to our students who have been successful in gaining these positions:
Molly Collard - awarded a School Based Traineeship with ANZ West Perth.
Madison Hardwick - South Metropolitan TAFE, Certificate III of Aviation (Cabin Crew).
Rylee Marwick - South Metropolitan TAFE, Certificate III of Aviation (Cabin Crew).
Kai Pickering - awarded a Scholarship with Master Plumbers’ Association.
Adam Quill - awarded the Scholarship to College of Electrical Training.
