Corpus Student Wins Gold!
Over the weekend of 16/17 September, Lola Davies won two gold medals at the State Rowing Championships held at Champion Lakes, Armadale.
Lola won a gold medal as part of a Womens Coxed Quad (D Division) and then backed up later that day by winning gold in the Womens Single scull (D Division).
The Championships are an open competition, with Lola being in Yr 10, she was the youngest competitor in her Single sculls race.
It is a reward for the efforts she applies in training, which is generally five times per week, with very early morning starts.
