Alien Autopsy

On Friday 4th November one group of Year 9 Science students were given the opportunity to take part in the incursion facilitated by Andy Kirker, also known as the Games Guy. 

Andy, plays games which are predominantly Science and Humanities based. His games are strongly values-based and include ethical understanding, critical and creative thinking. On this particular occasion, students played the Science game, Alien Autopsy. They had to theorize and design investigations based on the situation at hand. This was a valuable learning experience that promoted collaborative strategic thinking within groups.
