  • French is a major world language, spoken as the first language in more than two dozen countries on five continents. Further to this, French is a language of diplomacy and is used by the European Court of Justice. Studying French at ATAR level allows students the opportunity to extend their communication skills and their understanding of the connection between French culture and Australia. This course progresses from the Year 7-10 curriculum to extend and refine the communication skills students have acquired. Studying French as a second language allows students connections in work, study or travel abroad while growing their passion for life-long language learning.

  • Italian culture has played a formative role in western civilisation and is an integral part of Australia’s richly diverse cultural landscape. Studying Italian at ATAR level allows students the opportunity to extend their communication skills and their appreciation of Italian culture. This course progresses from the Year 7-10 curriculum to extend and refine the communication skills students have acquired. Studying Italian as a second language allows students connections in work, study or travel abroad while growing their passion for life-long language learning.
