Joshua Trant - Hook
Joshua is a year 10 student at Corpus Christi College playing the role of Hook. Joshua, accustomed to the stage was also in the 2022 Grease College production.
The story of Hook and Peter Pan is one that has captivated audiences for decades. Hook, the infamous pirate captain, seeks revenge on Peter Pan for having fed his left hand to the crocodile, which continues to haunt him. In an attempt to exact his revenge, Hook plants a bomb in Peter’s hideout, despite having promised Tinker Bell not to lay a finger on Peter. This action sets off a chain of events that leads to Hook being chased by the crocodile into the distance, with the rest of his crew trying to save him.
While the story may be one of revenge and conflict, the production itself is a testament to the creativity and imagination of the team behind it. Joshua, one of the actors involved in the show, remarks on how the set has surprised him with its imaginative design. He is particularly excited to see how the costumes will bring the show together, creating an immersive experience for the audience. For Joshua, participating in the show has been a rewarding experience that has allowed him to connect with new people and make lasting bonds with both teachers and fellow students. He encourages others to take part in future shows, highlighting the community and sense of camaraderie that comes with being involved in such a project.

Mischa Pizzo - Tiger Lily
Mischa Pizzo is a talented Year 12 student at Corpus Christi College who is currently playing the lead role of Tiger Lily in the production “Tiger Lily and the Deathly Diamonds.” With a passion for the performing arts, Mischa has already appeared as an Ensemble in “Beauty and the Beast” in 2019 and in Monkey 2021. She has impressive experience in the Dance and Music departments at the College, participating in College and Girls Choir, Dance Company, Dance Collective, Dance Ensemble, and Dance Collage.
In the production, Tiger Lily is portrayed as the daughter of Great Big Little Panther, the chief of the Piccanniny tribe, a fictional Native American tribe living in Neverland. A beautiful princess who is jealous of Wendy and Tinker Bell due to her feelings towards Peter. Throughout the play, she is kidnapped by Captain Hook and his pirates but is ultimately rescued by Peter Pan.
Mischa shares similarities with Tiger Lily in terms of being brave, strong-willed, and proud of her heritage and background. However, she acknowledges that unlike her character, she is talkative and does not fight, though she admits to sometimes being a little naughty.
Mischa expresses her surprise at the supportive environment among the cast and crew during rehearsals for the production. Mischa is excited to be part of such a talented group of performers who are enthusiastic and eager to showcase their talents in what promises to be an awesome show.
