Order of Events
9.15am All students to meet in the Foyer of the Theatre.
9.20am Enter the hall and be seated. Participants will have allocated seating.
9.30am Welcome and presentation of the day and house keeping.
9.45am Year 6 Competition.
Presentation to the winner of the Year 6 competition will follow immediately after the competition.
10.30am RECESS
11.00am Year 5 Competition.
Presentation to the winner of the Year 5 competition will follow immediately after the competition.
11.45am 5 Minute Break
11.50am Year 4 Competition.
Presentation to the winner of the Year 4 competition will follow immediately after the competition.
12.30pm-12.45pm Completion of Spelling Bee. Students are dismissed to return to their respective schools.
Important Information
Students representing their school at this event are required to wear the full school winter uniform – jumpers included, stockings for girls. Students are also asked to bring along a snack for morning tea and their water bottles.
Competition rules require that students DO NOT bring a copy of the word booklets into the theatre on the day of the competition – this includes not having the word booklet in their school bag, etc. No mobile phones, ipad or other electronic devices are to be brought along, or accessed, by students.
