The Corpus Christi College Inter-house Swimming Carnival is an excellent opportunity for students to participate with enthusiasm, show pride for their House and appreciate the excellence of the top swimmers at the College.
VISITORS WELCOME - SWIMMING CARNIVAL
Covid restrictions are obviously impacting on the access to College events for parents. We have now planned to accommodate a small number of parents for the 2021 Inter-house Swimming Carnivals this week.
We will provide a shaded area on the northern balcony of the David Heath Community Centre overlooking the Aquatic Centre. Entrance will be from the stairwell at the northern side of the David Heath Community Centre, adjacent to the Aquatic Centre.
All visitors are required to sign in through the Main Administration Reception before attending the Carnival.
When: Friday 19 February 2021 (Week 3)

Time:
Year 10 Periods 1 & 2
Arrive at school early with bathers under house uniform head to homeroom at 8.20am for competitor number.
Year 11 Periods 3 & 4
Move to allocated change room at 10.45am
Year 12 Periods 5 & 6
Move to allocated change room at 1.05pm
Housekeeping:
Carnival day:
Wear College sports uniform with house shirt and sports shoes for travel to and from school. You can wear thongs to and from changerooms and around the pool.
Valuables are NOT to be taken to the pool.
Mobile phones will be confiscated according to normal College policy.
Support your housemates and behave in an appropriate manner at all times during the day.
Bathers:
College one-piece bathers or speedos, or an alternative that is close to this. Any alternative bathers should be blue or black in colour and be consistent with the College uniform.
Students may wear the College sport shorts over their one piece or speedos and rashies are acceptable.
Swimming caps in house colours will be provided on the day. Students are required to bring their own goggles.
Food:
Students are NOT permitted to bring food into the pool. You may bring your own water bottle.
Competitor Numbers:
These will be issued during homeroom. Homeroom staff will use permanent marker to number above knuckles on left hand. Your house code will be written on right hand.
