Early Childhood Teacher (Fixed Term)
Full Time, Fixed Term (Term 3 & 4 2024)
Corpus Christi College is a co-educational Catholic college in the southern suburb of Bateman offering Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.
The College is seeking applications from committed and dynamic Early Childhood teachers interested in joining the Junior School on a fixed term full time basis.
Preferred applicants will be qualified to teach early learning and have a willingness to connect with students in the Senior School as part of our K-12 Corpus Christi College story.
Reporting to the Head of Junior School, this teaching role is an exciting opportunity to join a team of passionate educators committed to providing our younger students with a well-rounded education.
Selection criteria:
Proven experience in successfully planning, organising and delivering educational programs
Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Framework and connection to the WA Curriculum
Understanding of the National Quality Standards and how to foster this in the classroom setting
Ability to foster nurturing and positive relationships with students to cater for their needs
Demonstrated competence in classroom management
Understanding of explicit and differentiated instruction , including catering for students with diverse needs
Proficiency with digital technologies and supportive of digital integration
Commitment to continuous improvement, best practice teaching & learning, and innovation
Ability to effectively engage with parents and staff in the interests of students
Ability to work cooperatively and enthusiastically in a team towards achieving a common vision for learning
Initiative, professionalism and tact
Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College
Willingness to support the extra-curricular program of the College
Qualifications required:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education
Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (or willingness to work towards attainment)
Current Teachers Registration with TRBWA
Current Working with Children Check
