Primary Dance Concert

  • Corpus Christi College 50 Murdoch Drive Bateman, WA, 6150 Australia (map)

We are delighted to host the Make a Move Dance Program Primary Dance Concert in the Corpus Christi College, Caroline Payne Theatre.

Please find all details for the event below.

Performance 1 - 2.30pm Kindergarten Classes

Kindy B & G Classes. The expected finish time is 2.50pm. Parents are asked to pick up their child at 2.00pm from class and walk down as a group to the theatre. Staff will organise students into their costumes.  Grandparents and parents all welcome to sit in the audience. Kindy children will be dismissed from the theatre. Due to their young age, and the excitement of performing, we ask that arrangements are made for these students to be cared for whilst parents are attending other performances for older siblings. The creche facility offered by the college is for Pre-Primary to Year 6 students only.

Parents are asked to pack their child’s costume into a clearly labelled bag and send this to school on Tuesday 13 September.  Students will be performing barefoot, so no extra/different shoes need to be packed.

Performance 2 - 4.15pm for B Classes only

The expected finish time is approximately 4.45pm.

Parents (2 tickets per child) will be able to enter the theatre at 4.00pm.

B students are to stay at school with their costumes and afternoon tea in bags and remain in their class at end of day. Students will be given time to eat until 3.15pm; then time to play until 3.30pm then change into costumes (girls in B classrooms and boys in G classrooms) and walked over to the College Hall to prepare for their performance.  All staff will be supervising and assisting with these classes and parents are to pick up students from the College Hall at the end of the performance.

Parents are asked to pack their child’s costume into a clearly labelled bag and send this to school on Tuesday 13 September. Students will be performing barefoot, so no extra/different shoes need to be packed. Parents are encouraged to pack an extra afternoon snack for their child on the day of the show.

Performance 3 – 5.30pm for G Classes only

The expected finish time is approximately 6.00pm.

Parents (2 tickets per child) will be able to enter the theatre at 5.15pm.

Children will need to be in costume, having had afternoon tea and taken through to the College Hall at 5.00pm. All students are to be picked up from the College Hall at the end of the performance, please.

All G students are required to be picked up at 3.00pm as usual from the school on that day. These students may not remain on campus and instead are to be dropped off at the College Hall by parents at 5.00pm having had afternoon tea and already dressed in their costumes.
